This month sees the installation of our first project for Loanmakers. Mills Media have been commissioned to design and build 2 stands for them this year in Manchester and London.

Mills have worked with Muller on several smaller projects supplying a range of portable banner systems. However, this was our first bespoke build, designing, specifying and constructing an eye catching, reusable stand for future events.
The event at Proretail attracted many visitors.

The Halton Strategic Partnership has been working together to tackle the challenges faced by the borough of Halton. 

This new DVD programme for 2008-2009 captures a flavour of the good work currently taking place across the region.  From community groups, industrial park facelifts and adult learning initiatives, Halton SP is helping to make a difference across a broad spectrum of projects.

The University’s vibrant, new £120 million second campus in the heart of Worcester will breathe new life into the currently derelict former Worcester Royal Infirmary site.

Mills Media was commissioned to record the start of work and set up three time-lapse cameras on site.  Live pictures were sent direct to the client and stored at Mills’ base on the Wirral.

A new time-lapse DVD has recently been completed showing the demolition and clearing of the site and all set to an eclectic soundtrack.  The DVD allows the audience to select different views on the work undertaken.

At the centre of the world famous Three Graces on Liverpool’s waterfront sits the Cunard Building, the original home to the renowned shipping line.  In recent years, the Cunard Building has been returned to its former glory with a refurbishment programme that has refreshed the internal offices and conference facilities.

The building’s managers, CB Richard Ellis, requested a short DVD to highlight the new look but to also capture some of the Cunard’s unique features.  Mills Media filmed throughout the entire building, bringing its cavernous lower floors, its private boardrooms, the original dock wall, air-raid shelters and luggage holds to a whole new audience.

Thousands of delighted onlookers lined the streets of Liverpool to greet the fifty-foot high spider dubbed ‘La Princesse’ by her creators La Machine. Mills Media captured the grand finale, which took place at the entrance to the Queensway Tunnel, for major ’08 sponsor Merseytravel.  Two crews filmed the event through a blaze of fire, rain, snow and smoke.

Vast in scale and spectacular in execution, this breathtaking new commission was undoubtedly a highlight of the city’s Capital of Culture celebrations.

The WiN Awards 2008 were held for the first time at the prestigious Birkenhead School last week.

In a marquee setting, Mills Media supplied all set, AV and play-ins for the premier event that saw the very best of the regions businesses enjoy a great night of celebration. Twin live cameras showcased the winners and the evening was hosted by Radio Merseyside’s Roger Phillips.
